![]() Oswald Cobblepot (31) Young, well-mannered, professional male, new to city, seeks opportunities to make new friends. Would enjoy pleasant companionship at films, museums, or concerts, or for meals. Please no athletic outings. Gender is irrelevant but we can be no more than friends if you are not 25-35 years of age. |

i am so sorry.

Not a fan of athletics, Mr. Cobblepot?
i am the one who should be sorry.

I'm afraid not, Mr. Wayne. They were never my strong suit even in better times; two years ago I suffered a grievous injury that left me with a permanent physical impairment. I would be a poor companion indeed for someone who enjoyed running or hiking as a pleasant activity.
mutual sorries from both of us.
I prefer arm workouts but fair enough. If someone was looking for a companion to just read you'd be an acceptable one, right? I'm out of your age range, but I'm curious.
no apologies i live for this stuff
Different paths to the same result. ]
I am open to befriending people of all ages, Mr. Wayne. For anything more I merely do not wish anyone to feel taken advantage of by a significant age difference.
I would be acceptable, yes. I am not able to walk as well as everyone else my age. My leg was injured.
as do i contrary to my tagging habits apparently.
Including yourself. Are you that scared of other people here? Last I checked there was supposed to be consent involved.
[ This is what we call teasing. Not flirting, but also he's really wondering how much he can poke at him. ]
Which leg? If you don't mind me asking, Mr. Cobblepot.

I would be amenable to visiting a museum.

Splendid.
May I ask: are you the sort of visitor who would linger over exhibits rather than rush through the museum's offerings? I ask not only to ascertain compatibility between our temperaments and interests, but for a more practical reason. I have a physical limitation. I do not walk as swiftly as most my age.

I am rather new here and have not yet had the opportunity to enjoy any of the city's museums. Have you had a chance to visit any?

Why, thank you.
To what do I owe the pleasure of this approval?

I enjoyed our first outing. Why not do so again? You match my qualifications of competent and intelligent. Understanding of the world as it should be.
I think we could find each other's company...stimulating.

[He has a good read on people, after all.]
Now the question, of course, is what shall we do?
You can't be adverse to all athletic activities.

I am but eight and ten but I would like very much to be friends, if you would like? I have enjoyed the museums so far and would like to see more of them.

I would gladly escort you to the city's museums but I feel it is only fair to warn you first: I have a physical limitation. I cannot walk as well as most. But if you do not feel that would burden you, then I would be pleased to join you.

May I ask: Why do you say you are not just a little bird, in your profile? If that is too private a thing to discuss with someone you've only just met, you may disregard the question.

Why, thank you. I must confess: It's not a compliment I have gotten before. I know it's not terribly stylish.
